Worksheet Name

P

_Pete_

Hi All,

I am a first timer. So bare with me.
I would like to get the workbook name and place it in a cell in the
worksheet.

This is what I do. I copy a worksheet, when it creates a copy it gives it
the name of the worksheet it was copied from and it adds a "(2)" at the end
of the name.

I want to take this name and place it in a cell in the workbook, and if the
name of the sheet is changed I want it to reflect the change. Could some one
help.

Thanks

Peter

One way, from a posting by Richard Schollar:
=REPLACE(CELL("Filename",A1),1,FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1)),"")

The workbook must have been saved beforehand
