I thought we were talking about Microsoft Works. ???
If you're talking about window's task manager, I don't think you can (nor
should you try to) uninstall it. I think it's pretty integrated with
windows.
This may sound dumb to you, but where do I uninstall Windows Works Task
Launcher? And reinstall it. I do not have a CD of it.

If that's the only program you're having problems with, you could always
try
uninstalling Works, rebooting, and then reinstalling Works again.

Everytime I try to use microsoft works, task launcher freezes up. Does
anyone know what I can do about it? I have Windows XP. Thanks
You MUST have had some inkling that what you were asking is not really a
reasonable proposal or you would not have said this! The Works Task
Launcher is not a separate component even if you DID have the Works
installation disk. ....and since you don't, the point is moot at that.
I would just stop using it, as you don't need it to launch the separate
elements of Microsoft Works which should already be on the Start Menu.

Then stop using the task launcher and launch each program
individually.
Simple, huh?
