works spreadsheet to excel - opening

i receive spreadsheets created in works as a download, but
i can not open with excel. i do not have works on this
machine - how can i get this into excel format? convertor
available?
 
Excel can convert only through Works v 2. You'll have to ask the person sending the file to save
it in Excel format.
