Workgroup Templates

Hello, we have set our Workgroup Templates path in Word's TOOLS | OPTIONS \
FILE LOCATIONS | Workgroup templates to point to a share on our network. In
Word when we click FILE | NEW | and click the "on my computer" link it shows
our shared templates, but I don't see them in PowerPoint when I click FILE |
NEW | on my computer. Anyone know how to configure it so it sees those
workgroup templates? Thanks.

Try putting a shortcut to the template location in
docs&settings/name/application data/microsoft/templates

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply. I should have added in my original note that I
knew about the "Docs & Settings\.." path, but we want to have all users
access and share corporate workgroup templates. We also want to be able to
just keep the one set of templates managed, in one location, rather than have
those templates located on each workstation. I remember reading that all
Office 2003 apps should be able to access Workgroup Templates. Hope this
clarifies things. Thanks again John.
