We have a small workgroup system (mix of Vista, WinXP and Win2000 PCs) with
a couple of problems:
AA
The Vista machines can see each other on the network, but cannot see the
WinXP or Win2000 PCs. The latter can see the Vista machines but cannot
access their files
BB
One Vista machine cannot access data from another; while attempting to
connect, a log-on screen appears and asks for UID/PWD. What should one
enter? I tried entering PCNAME/Administrator (where PCNAME=Machine Name) as
the UID and the normal login PWD as the PWD, but that combination did not
work. Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help
