Hey All,
Today I was messing around with some network settings and
changed the name of a computer on my home network twice.
Everything still works fine, but when I look at the
workgroup computers in My Network Places, it shows the
new workgroupname as well as the old name I gave the
computer.
If I click on the old computer a message says the
computer can't be found. The problem is I can't get rid
of the previous computer; can't open it, can't delete it.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this (make it so the old
computer name doesn't appear at all)?
Thanks,
Ryan.
