workgroup can see, but can't

I have 2 computers connected to my router at home. Both run xp pro.
One is wireless, the other hard lined. When I browse workgroup
computers, there's an icon for each computer. However, when I double
click the other computer (eg. double click desktop icon while on
laptop), I get an error saying "\\Desktopmain is not accessible, you do
not have permission, yada yada yada". If I try to ping the computer,
it times out. I've created identical accounts on each computer and am
logged onto each under that account. What else do I need to do to
enable them to access each other? Thanks.
