Somehow I cannot resize a particular workbook. The buttons that are usually
in the upper right corner to close, minimize, or maximize are now gone. The
workbook window extends below my screen and I can't even change sheets.
Please heeelllllllllpppppppp!!!

Thanks!

Steve

Ok, if the sheet is maximized, look right below the Excel main window
control button set for the "sheet window control button set".

That only affects the Excel Master window. The workbook I am in does not
respond. I cannot resize even by trying to grab the edges of the workbook
window....

The workBOOK is protected. Try the Tools > Protection > Unprotect
Workbook... menu command to unprotect it. If it has a password, you'll
need a password cracker. Many have been mentioned in the Google Groups
archive for this newsgroup.

Sounds like the workbook is protected which disables those buttons.

Go to Tools>Protection and see if "Unprotect Book" is available.
