Work Laptop XP Pro to Home PC XP Home

Hi
I have a problem or two to setup my home ICS environment. I have a work
laptop on a domain with XP Pro. My home PC is on XP Home. I'm trying to use
the internet (3G) on my home PC through a crossover cable between the PC and
the laptop. I'm not getting stable file sharing or any internet on the PC.
The laptop keeps getting access denied when I try to file share even though
I've turned of the Firewall on my home PC. Can anybody help me please.

Is Guest activated for network access, on the XP Home computer?

What is the complete and exact "access denied" error?

And look at "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server", and "net
config workstation", from each computer, and the problem. Read this article,
and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
