I have a toolbar in Excel that I can't get rid of. It appears in the list of
toolbars, and I can remove it temporarily by removing the checkbox, but it
reappears on startup. I've checked that there are no strange add-ins (COM or
otherwise) installed, and I've checked the Excel Startup folder, which is
empty. I've scanned the registry, but I've found nothing. No results come up
on Google or microsoft.com/office. The toolbar has four buttons: New Work
Items list, Import, Sync and Refresh. All are disabled except for the first,
which does nothing.

Please reply if you know where this toolbar comes from.

Thanks!

Hi
have you really checked 'tools - addins' and the XLStart folder.

Do you have an alternate startup folder set in Tools/Options/General?

No. This field is blank: At Startup, open all files in:

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Vince
