Work days formula

Is there a formula in access for work days? I have transactions that i want
to look at from the previous day, so i am currenlty usung date()-1. But this
is no good after the weekend. As it looks at Sun and sat when i have no
transactions. Can somebody suggest another way?

To calculate workdays between 2 dates

=NETWORKDAYS(fromdate,todate)

There is no NetWorkDays function in Access (although it does exist in Excel)
