records in ms access 2000 ramdomly being deleted

Using ms access 2000 and vb 6 under winxp

We have a program use in our stores which save all the transactions. In the
afternoon they send the data to main office.

My problem is... they were able to send the data. But when they load the
program the next ... their transactions yesterday where no longer in the
table. Users don't have access to delete records.

For example they have 20 transactions for this day. After they went home,
they sent their transaction for the day to main office. The next day when
they load the program... all those 20 records where deleted in the table.

Can someone help me on this problem.

Is a backup being restored accidentally?
