I'm trying to type over a picture in Microsoft word 2007, i want the picture
in background and words over it. I'm not sure how to do it. If I do a text
box it covers the picture so I don't want that. Thanks.

You can type the words in a text box, then right-click the edge of the text box,
choose Format Text Box, and choose a fill color of No Color and a line color of
No Color. That makes the box transparent.

Alternatively, you can type the text in the ordinary way and then set the
picture's Text Wrapping to Behind Text.

I prefer to use a photo editing program (Photoshop Elements) for tasks like
that.
