words are dropping to the next line when I have space

I have a list of numbered lines, some of them are fine and others have words
that drop to the next line and nothing I do will bring them back up to the
line they are supposed to be on. I have plenty of space in the line, but the
words only want to go to the next line. can anyone help?

Are there nonbreaking spaces between the words that are wrapping to the next
line? Or is there a right indent in the paragraph?

Hi, no this is what it might look like
1. Every good boy deserves favor.
2. Rich boys have
more toys.

and with it, I can't bring the more up next to the word have. Any suggestions?
