Please .
Will appreciate if anyone comment on this matter, I used to
have microsoft wordpad as a shortcut up and working fine until I had to
reformat my pc,lost the shortcut and everything else, those of you who are
familiar with this great utility and more simple application from MSWord
will understand my frustration. Tried MS web site and nothing there, tried
to go to "Add/remove windows components"and nothing yet. Please help

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in:
"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe" , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: WordPad , and click "Finish"
4. A new WordPad shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

The program itself is
C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe
Look for it, right-drag to the desktop and 'create shortcut'. R-click
that and rename to taste, then drag it into Start - All Programs at a
place you find convenient.
