H Herb Tyson [MVP] Jan 28, 2009 #2 Did you inadvertently create an autocorrect entry that changes he to she? Or... could someone have done it as a practical joke? In Word 2007, try Office button, Word Options, Proofing tab, AutoCorrect options - AutoCorrect tab. In Word 2003 and earlier, try Tools - AutoCorrect Options - AutoCorrect tab

J Jay Freedman Jan 28, 2009 #3 how do i keep word from changing he to she? Click to expand... It doesn't normally do that, but it would if (maybe by accident) you added that to the AutoCorrect list. Go to Tools > AutoCorrect Options (or if you have Word 2007, go to Office button Word Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options). Look in the list of items to Click to expand... see if there's one that has 'he' on the left side and 'she' on the right side. If it's there, click on it and click the Delete button.
