Word-Wrap-cell size

We use a spreadsheet format at work that at times requires
quite a bit of text be entered into one cell. With the
word-wrap feature, we've found there is a secret limit at
which the cell cuts off and no longer wraps the contents.
Even though you can see the words in the formula bar, they
will not show up within the cell or when printed, no
matter whether auto-fit is on or how large you resize the
row or the column.

Any suggestions?

Per Help/Specifications, the maximum number of characters in a cell is
32,767, of which 1,024 can be displayed.

You can actually display more, by hand-entering a line feed (e.g.,
ALT-ENTEr) before the 1,024th (and each subsequent 1024th) character.

In Excel 2002, max characters in a single cell is 32,767 but 'only' 1024
characters are visible in the cell.
