There could be many reasons why you've lost the toolbar.
Try right click on a blank part of the menu bar at the top, select Customize -
then Toolbar - reset.
If you're just missing one toolbar, see if it's ticked when you right click on
the blank part of the menu bar which brings down a list of toolbars available.
If you would like to give more information if the above is not the answer, post
to the Word NG and detail what is missing etc
