Does anybody know what the term is called when there is a word document and
there are portions of the document, such as names or dates or titles,
completely blacked out. It probably happens most in legal documents. If
anybody knows, please tell me. I have to find out for an assignment in my
multimedia class at college.

homework you should make more of an effort to find out for yourself instead
of just asking - you might even learn something on the way which would be a
bonus for you.
