I have a document saved on a floppy. It is not my original document; it was
given to me. The text is in all caps. Even the letters which should be lower
case are caps. They are smaller caps, but still caps. How do I get this to a
normal text?

Is it possible that they are in a font that shows lower case as just smaller
caps?

Reading stuff in ALL CAPS is a riot, eh? Makes you wonder what somebody was
thinking. Try highlighting the text you want to fix and then go to Format,
Change Case and select Sentence case. You might find this works but I doubt
it will be perfect.

It would appear that the Small Caps property is applied. Ctrl+A and
Ctrl+Spacebar will likely fix that unless, as someone else said, the font is
one that has only large and small caps (in which case you need to change the
font).
