A couple of weeks ago I posted about a problem with a
Word table inserted as an OLE in PowerPoint 2003.

Within PP the table expanded when closed and could not be
correctly resized afterwards. The only solution was to
go back ot a computer running an older version of Office.

I've now solved the problem by removing Word 2003 from my
computer, retaining the other components of Office 2003.

Then I installed Word 2000.

Problem solved, everything works perfectly.

So the bug is in Word 2003 rather than in PowerPoint 2003.

Cheers,

Rodger

Ah but...

Last night I had just this problem using PPT XP and Word 2000.

LOL! Figures.

I dunno, but I think that OLE just leaves something to be desired.
