Word sticks to top of monitor

First Notepad, then Word when opened sticks to the top of monitor in
minimized format. I tried opening & saving full screen or maximized but of
no avail. Any ideas?

Hi Milind..!

Please try the following steps, it might work for you...

In the Run command box, type %appdata%, then go to Microsoft - Templates and Rename Normal.dot file as OldNormal.dot, then go back to Microsoft Folder - Open "Word" folder - Open Startup folder - Cut all the files from Startup - Create a new folder on the desktop and Paste those files in that - Restart your PC once and try opening Word.

Note : %appdata% will work only if you are having Windows 2000 or later
