Word always opens at the beginning of a document no matter how long it
is. Can I make it open at the point where I was last typing when the
document was saved? Thank you in advance. Roy Sharples.

Hi,
Normally it should suffice to hit Shift+F5 once the document is opened. Word
will take you to the last place you edited. Has been in Word since the
beginning of Office.

Press Shift+F5 upon opening.

And if you want to pick up at the *end* of the document rather than the last
editing location just key Control+End once the file opens.

Also (if you forget the keystroke:-)) you can use the Browse Objects button
at the bottom of the vertical scroll bar - click the round button & select
Edits, then use the up/down double arrows.
