Word should let me review comments out of order

Microsoft Word 2002 only lets me accept comments if I do it in sequential
order, either backwards or forwards. But I want to keep some comments to
review later. However, if I don't either accept or delete the next comment in
the sequence, I can't accept or delete any other comment in the document
until I do.
