Word should let me convert numerals under 10 into words, and word.

Trouble is, in many style standards (and bear in mind, 99% of the world
couldn't care less about APA) there so many exceptions to when this is good
practice, and so much variety in the form of words and numbers that you
might want to use.

I would HATE to have Word trying to second guess me on that one.

Thank you for your reply. I would not like to have Word guess either, so my
suggestion intends that it would be a selection option under the Format menu
(like Change Case).

You could probably use autocorrect for the first part of this, if you can't
remember to type them in correctly in the first place, eg #1 - one #2 - two
etc.

Thanks,

Next time I'll try that. Although it would be nice to have a feature you
could instantly switch on or off to convert the numerals.
