Word Scanned Documents

When I download a scanned document from the internet it appears in a table
form with black background and white lettering. How do I reverse this? I
have the background option under format, but this only changes the outside
boarder, the page under the table.

Scanning docs from the web? Are you SURE that is what you are doing?
Could you just be copying the content? I don't see how you can be
"scanning" docs from the web, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, ASSUMING that you're really copying them or capturing them
some other way...you might want to check out this TechTrax article. It
sounds like you're just capturing the underlying web site frame
structure, which Word will interpret as a table format. You can get
rid of a lot of that background garbage by either using Paste Special
or by converting the outside table into Text to remove it.

See this article for more details and information...

Hope this helps. If not, please provide more specific details about
exactly what you are doing...in steps.
