Word Perfect

I'm sure I'm probably not in the right newsgroup but I don't see one for
office or Word Perfect. Sometimes when I get an e-mail with an attachment,
(i.e. a real estate quote from my son), when I try to open or save it it goes
to Word Perfect and I get a window with a drop down list. No matter what I
select it won't give me the attachment. Could this be something that
happened when my hard drive was re-formatted recently? Any Ideas??

Create an account for the following news server:

cnews.corel.com

It has the WordPerfect newsgroups etc. etc. By the way (BTW), Microsoft
Office is an entirely different set of programs by a different software
company from Corel WordPerfect suites.

What is the extension of the attachments in question (the last three
characters after the dot)? It's hard to tell from your message but it sounds
like you may be receiving WordPerfect documents as attachments (with the
extension .wpd) and you don't have WordPerfect installed.
