Word >> PDF facility in XP

O

occam

[apologies if I'm asking this question in thw wrong forum - point me to
the correct one and I'll go away]

I have Office XP Pro 2002 installed on Win XP Sp2

Until about 3 months ago, I had the "Word >> PDF" converter button (top
right hand corner, reddish colour) in MS Word (and also MS Excel) --
very useful.

Now it is not there any more. What have I done (uninstalled) for this
feature to disappear?

(I cleaned up a lot of 'unwanted' stuff way back then - including some
Adobe software -- including Macromedia Flash, Adobe Reader, etc. Could
it have been one fo these?)

Anyway, I'd love to get this feature back.

Thanks for any pointers

Click help then "detect and repair". It might fix it.

Thanks. Tried it. Alas, no luck!

Without a full version of Adobe Acrobat installed, I don't think you would
have had what you described.

Install the full version of Acrobat again and/or Get something like
PDFCreator.

I have never had full Adobe Acrobat. I think it must have come with
'Contribute 3' - a Macromedia (now Adobe) remote web editing s/w.
However, I am reluctant to re-insatll that.
Thanks for the PDFCreator suggestion.
