Word merge doesn't include all recipients from data source

I've created a data base in Excel and told Word to use that data for a mail
merge.
It includes only some of the names in the data base, but not all records.

What sort of merge are you performing? Is there a pattern to the missed
records. For example, if you are doing a form letter type mailmerge and you
have a <<Next Record>> field somewhere in the mailmerge main document, you
will get every other record only in the result. If it's a label type
mailmerge and you have a <<Nect Record>> field before the mergefields in the
first label on the sheet, you will miss the first record and every nth
record where n is the number of labels on the sheet. And then of course, if
it's a label type mailmerge and you do not actually execute the merge, you
will only get one sheet of labels.

I have had this problem too. I found that using the field "next record" is
the problem. Try it without using this field.
