Word License Problem

After my computer crashed and I had to reload all programmes word will not
work. It is asking for the 25 digit license certificate number to be
re-entered i have entered the number i have but it is not being accepted.

What can I do to resolve this.

Make sure you've entered the number correctly. Look for obvious mistakes
like substituting an O for a 0.

You *are* supplying the one that came with Word/Office, and *not* the
one that came with Windows? Quite different series of keys
