Word is showing changes each launch of a particular doc

There is a particular doc which, every time I launch it, despite my trying to
show only the "final" version of it before closing each time, will always
come up as the "final plus markup". Is it a Word or doc setting that is off,
and where is it?

Go to Tools, Options, Security and deselect Make Hidden Markup Visible When
Opening or Saving. Change the view on the Reviewing Toolbar to Final. Save
the file.

Hope this works. It seems to work for me.
