I defragged and seem to have lost my bullets and smiley icons now. I pulled up WORD (have 2000) and my smiley face is no longer there. How do I put it back? It still has the , but not the actual smiley face anymore. And I've also lost the round bullets when I view any web pages too. Any suggestions. I've never had to program WORD. THANKS!

Simply defragging should cause something like this. Unless the log reported damaged sectors that have been locked out, thus losing any data that was there?

Are you referring to the AutoCorrect smiley face, or to something else (such as Insert/Symbol)? And where did you usually find the bullets to which you refer?

If you run Help/Detect and Repair does that help at all? (Note: you may need to insert your installation CD)
