Word Hyperlinks Turning Yellow

Mark Vines

For some reason my word hyperlinks are turning yellow. If someone could
please explain to me in detail how to change the default color I would
greatly appreciate it.

THANKS!

Perhaps you changed the default formatting. To change it back, go to Format
Styles and Formatting. If "Show" lists Available formatting, then you
should see Hyperlink and FollowedHyperlink. You can modify them to your
preferred colors.

Diane, Thanks for your response. I have Word 2007. Where do I find the
"Format" tab to click on?

On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click the dialog launcher arrow in
the bottom right corner to open the Styles window. If Hyperlink and Followed
Hyperlink are not listed, click on Options and choose "All styles" as the
list to display. You'll then find them in the list. Hover over either and
click the arrow that appears, then choose Modify... Change the formatting
as desired.

You can then change the Styles window display back to Recommended or
whatever other setting you choose.
