Word form fields

I am creating a form in Word 2007 and I have set a form field to
automatically show the number as % (i chose 0% as my number format) however,
instead of changing it from say 50 to 50% it is changing it to 5000%. How do
I correct this? thanx

The number will have to be entered as a decimal fraction (.5 instead of 50).

But if you want to enter the whole number remove the % formatting from the
field and put it in plain text outside the field.
