Word Font problem

I am facing a problem in my Microsoft Word 2000.

1.I can see my documents while typing but when I am changing the fonts to
BOOK ANTIQUA its size

automatically changes and some time it disappears.

2.When I open any previously saved file I am unable to find any modified
BOOK ANTIQUA fonts.
i.e. : text in BOOK ANTIQUA in BOLD or ITALIC or UNDERLIN

3.When I am opening the same files from other pc the files are opening
normally.

I have removed MS Office 2000 and again installed it but that don't give me
any solution.


So it will be very kind if any one can provide solution.

Does this happen when you use any other font other than Book Antiqua?

I suspect that the font has become corrupted. Uninstalling Word wouldn't, I
think, refresh the fonts.
