Word + Exel = Ugh...

is there a way to "import" graphs from Exel into Word so that when i change
values on the graph in excel, it's also changed in Word, so that i don't have
to cut-paste every time i update the graph?

In Excel, select the graph and select EDIT | COPY (or ctrl + v). Now go to
Word and click where you want the graph. In Word select EDIT | PASTE
SPECIAL. Now a dialogue box will appear asking you what type of object you
would like to paste. You will be able to select "paste" or "paste link".
Paste will paste an entire spreadsheet in your word file which can be edited
in the word file (this is NOT the option you want). You want to select the
"paste link" option. This will embed the object as a "linked" graph. Double
clicking on the graph will open the excel file and allow you to edit there.
You can also right click on the graph and select "update link" to update it
with any changes you have made in the excel file. Additionally, each time
you open a file with these types of "linked" files in them you will be asked
if you want to update the links and you can click yes or no.
