word email attachments

In Word XP using Windows XP Pro I have no option of sending email as
attachment - only send email and then the word document is sent in the body
of the email but not as an attachment. How can I fix this?

Have you checked the box for "Mail as attachment" on the General tab of
Tools | Options?
