Word does not start up as e-mail editor

I can no longer write an e-mail message or reply to a received one as Word
will not start up as e-mail editor

Please post your versions of Outlook and Word. Note that they must match in
order to do this. Also post more details as to error messages, what changed
since this last worked, etc.
