Word Documents archive in Outlook Public Folder with additional in

Hallo
Because in these days most of our correspondences are emails we like to
archive all correspondence documents in the outlook public folder. With this
concept we can use the functionality of outlook like search per date and
receiver name...
We can also save per drag and drop our little word documents in the outlook
public folder. So far so good.

Is there a possibility to add the receiver name from a letter in the outlook
field "to" and maybe other information in further outlook fields?
The best would be if we could fill the information in the properties of a
word document and transfer automatically the information in the corresponding
outlook field.
We use Outlook Exchange Server 2003 together with Outlook 2007 on Vista.
Best regards for your help
Marcel

You can customize your view to include certain documents fields;
View-> Arrange By-> Custom...-> Fields...-> set list to All Documents fields

If you are just starting to set up this infrastructure, then I would
recommend against it and take a look at Windows SharePoint Services or even
SharePoint Server first. The use of Public Folders is discouraged in current
versions of Exchange and the feature will eventually go away in later
versions of Exchange (later than Exchange 2010).
