Word Docs Titles changed to "~WRL" and a no. What's Up with this??

About thirty of my word document titles were changed
to "~WRL" and a four digit number==a complete mystery to
me. I have to go into them individually to find out what
they are and then change back the titles so I can find
documents I want to use.
What would cause this to happen??
Dell told me it could be a macro virus.
I would appreciate help on this.

I doubt that your files were actually changed to these names. These are
temporary files that Word creates when you save a document. If they haven't
been deleted, then that's another problem. But I would be willing to bet
that your original documents are still in the folder. See "WD: How Word for
Windows Uses Temporary Files [KB 211632]" at
