word crunches all text to the left

When someone tries to print a document word crunches all text to the left
side of the page into a single vertical line before printing. It then prints
this way.
I have tried to close word and re-open it but the issue is still there. The
only thing that will stop the issue is shutting down and restarting. This
particular issue is occuring on an XP SP2 machine, with a networked printer.
No one else is experiencing this issue. Thanks in advance.
