I've a document Guitar 2.doc that contains graphics made using tools in
Microsoft Word and character content. As I tried to open it in office xp and
office 2003 MS Word, A file conversion dialog box is displayed as I choose
any of the option and click ok, the content I get is code like content which
are like "YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYÈÈÈÈÈÈÈ" and more and more. Please Help! This doc
content my valuable work. For your information I too used Office 200 and
Office XP. But I don't know in which Office application I created this doc.
Once again! Please Help!Please Help!Please Help!Please Help!Please

That converter is for Office 2007 documents. This is Office 2003 and
earlier?

I suspect the problem here has more to do with a security update. What
happens if you turn off tools > options > general > confirm conversions at
open and open the document? Or even if you accept the seemingly scrambled
version in the dialog and continue opening it?
