Hi Guys:

I'm using Windows ME.
I cannot determine what file extension is used for WORD 2000 backup
files. I have the box "Always create backup copy" checked in
Tools/Options/Save but don't see any new file created in the same directory
(folder) using (*.*). I even did a "filename.*" search on the entire system
and nothing came up. Is there a backup copy/file created or not? What
gives??

Thanks in Advance!!

But you won't see a backup file till you've saved twice since the backup is
the next-to-last save (it's not a true backup in the sense of another copy
of the file). For more, see http://home.zebra.net/~sbarnhill/SaveOptions.htm
