Word as HTML editor

I am using Word to create an HTML document. Nothing fancy, mostly text with a
company logo. When I save the document, any pictures, etc are stored as a
sub-folder. Why is this? And is there a way to setup word so that it "saves"
like Frontpage, etc.

Word is a word processor and was never intended to be used as a tool to
create effective web pages, rather a transport medium to return html pages
back into their original Word Doc form.

You may change the settings to elimiante the sub-folder for images.

Tools / Options / Web Options / Files / untick (check) Organize files in
supporting folder.
OK yourself out.
