Word and text boxes

When I try and insert a text box into a word document it fails to show in
print preview and then disappears when I return to normal or print layout
view. It can be restored by using undo. Help ??
 
Post in a Word newsgroup. This group is for Windows XP.

Try Options-->View-->Print & Web-->Check the box showing 'Text Boundries'
