Word adds spaces

Hello,

I have users reporting that when they type the colon symbol, word will
automatically add a space after...
Is this a type of spell check/language problem ?

Hi David

Try Tools > Autocorrect options. In the Replace box, type a colon. If
something appears in the "With" box, then it has been set as an autocorrect
(which means the replacement happens as soon as one types the text). Click
Delete to delete it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it is not the case for my
situation...
Any other suggestions ?

This is probably an indication that the language at the insertion point is
French (or another that causes this formatting). Do they also get guillemets
(« ») when they type double quotes?
