Word 97 printing automatically

When I open a document either as an email attachment or an imported document and I open it Word 97 automatically opens the document, prints the document and then closes it, all without any choice on my part. Is there a menu option that I cannot find in Word 97 that is choosing this to happen? help!

It seems more likely that an AutoOpen macro is running.

G'Day Steve,

It's not exactly clear to me what you are doing!

Do you (by any chance) mean Right-Clicking a
Document In Windows Explorer (or an email
attachment in Outlook) and selecting "Open"
from the Context Menu??

In sounds as though the "File Types" action is
corrupt.
