Word 2007...whut the !@#$%^&*?

Purchased a new computer; & thought to myself "I should upgrade Word...only
had it since 2003". So I did; & oh my freakin' God, man...what's with that
interface ?????????????????? You gotta be kiddin' me. Any way to get to
look like the old Word?

No - the ribbon can be edited if you are determined, but otherwise what you
see is what you get.

What do you folks mean by "edit the ribbon" ('cause I'd love to do that...if
it gives me back at least some semblance of the former GUI.) Are there any
informationals/tutorials on that at the Office site?

Editing the ribbon will not turn Word 2007's interface to that of Word 2003.
There is no way to do that. You can however configure the ribbon - see
