Word 2007 Save Web Page, filtered HTML-image paths absolute

Hello all! And thank you in advance :)

The images don't show on the web server when I save a perfectly working html
file in word as web page filtered. Checking the source I see Word has
replaced the paths to file:///+ an absolute path from my root to the location
originally designated.

I will not be using the file there, of course, but on a web server where
the dir structure is different. We also open these files on all kinds of
computers everywhere because we need to, to keep things on the web site up to
date. I don't care if I can see the images, therefore, while editing. I just
want the paths to stay the same so they work on the server.

I saw and implemented solutions to fix the hyperlink problem of the same
genre. But I don't see anything for images.

If I missed it, my apologies! I'm sure it's me.. :-( It always is :-((((

Does anyone know? How to preserve paths to images in html files when opening
and saving in Word 2007? Is it impossible?
