I'm using windows Vista and word 2007 and am having a problem I hope someone
can help me with. I am trying to insert a picture i have saved to desktop
onto a word document. The problem comes when I use the insert picture and
find it and try to insert the picture it comes up as encrypted. I did not
encrypt the photo and this is even happening when I try to insert a picture
from a CD school gave me. I can find the file, but it shows up as encrypted.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your quick responses to this matter, I do appreciate it. I
tried a new document and it seems to work as intended. Not sure whats
changed, but it seems to work now.

I do have another question if you don't mind with similiar problem. I have
a .pdf picture saved to my desktop that needs to be added to a word document.
When I use the "Insert" button on word and select desktop the picture does
not show up. It does show up when I select "all files" but then when I try
to insert it I get the error "an error has occured while importing this
file". Again if this is because its a PDF file would someone please explain
how to change from .pdf to .jpeg or something similiar.

Thanks again

Why do you think it's encrypted?
